Batter Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baseball season has begun. KB decided to play this spring. They lost their opener last Saturday 15-1. Our hope is that he has fun, learns and doesn't become discouraged. The Reds aren't doing much better....they're taking a beating every chance they can get.
It's time to begin the spring house cleaning....which this year includes removing the carpet from the first floor and going to bare wood floors. The carpet is ugly, Dizzy has fleas so now's the time to act. The major part will be done on Saturday. The floors underneath should be in good shape, probably just need a good cleaning and a polishing. Next week is our last "short" week with Hunter. Kevin and Kimmi are taking him our of Biederman Day Care at the end of next week and then he will come here full time. We all want to get him potty trained before Wyatt arrives....and we want to use regular underwear or training pants, not pull-ups, which are required at the day care. Isabella has been coming to us every Tuesday evening while Tiffanie works.......she's so interactive now. Hunter dotes on her while she's here....he's going to make a super big brother.
Den's foot is looking soooo much better.....we're hoping that when he goes back to see Dr. Schuckmann next Thursday that the wound will finally be healed. I'm praying for that so he can go back to work. Mom is doing about the same.....we stopped the Aricept (for the Alzheimer's) since it wasn't helping her. Her dementia is slowly getting worse.
On a cheery note...The Moody Blues are coming to town in June and Tiffanie and I are going to go see them. It will be great to get out as an adult and it's been years since I've seen them. I'm waiting for the tickets to go on sale and I want to be first in line to get as close as possible....cross your fingers for me.
